Hello everybody. This is Jeff from etrailer.com. Today we gonna take a look at the Yates four inch long rubber spool roller for boat trailers with the 5/8 inch diameter shaft. Now this will replace a worn out spool roller that's on your boat trailer with this heavy duty rubber one. This roller will help ease loading and unloading of your boat. It does support the keel of the boat as it sits on the trailer, and it will also help absorb road shock while your boat is being towed.
This will function as a direct replacement for rollers that fit a standard four inch wide bracket and uses a 5/8 inch diameter shaft. This is constructed of a heavy duty rubber and it is made in the USA. Again, we mentioned the application. It fits a four inch wide bracket with the 5/8 inch diameter shaft. Give you a few measurements on this.
The four inch measurement is gonna be from one end to the other. There's your four inch length. The diameter on it is right at three inches. And the diameter on that shaft we mentioned is right at 5/8 of an inch. But that should do it for the review on this Yates four inch long rubber spool roller for boat trailers with the 5/8 inch diameter shaft..

- Replacement 4-1/2 Inch Long Spool Rollers for a Boat TrailerIn order to find the correct replacement spool roller for your boat trailer, you would need to measure from the inside of each mounting bracket. The 4-1/2" long measurement that you provided is not common and we would not have anything that matches this dimension exactly. With that being said, I recommend using a 4" long roller and adding a couple washers on each side. You could also tighten the brackets more to pull them in further.
